Hecht, Hollie outpace opponents
In the April 2 school board election, Gary Hecht outpaced Tony Riley in Poteau and Kerry Hollie II scored a big win.
For the Poteau School Board election for office No. 4, Hecht collected 340 votes (59.0) percent compared to Riley, who received 236 votes (40.9)
In Bokoshe, Hollie II easily outpaced opponent Shane Dixon, collecting 48 votes (87.2) to 7 (12.7).
