Obituary for Shirley Hollan
Shirley Lometta (McGowen) Hollan of Sapulpa (formerly of Summerfield) was born July 8, 1941 in Summerfield to Elzie Levi and Sally Marguerite (Jones) McGowen and passed away on June 12, 2024 in Tulsa at the age of 82.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Monday at Summerfield Cemetery Pavilion. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener.
Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She really loved and enjoyed reading. She will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew her. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar Hollan, of the home;
One daughter, Robin Fay Hollan, of Sapulpa;
One son, Wesley Allen Hollan, of Sapulpa;
Two sisters Loretta Wheat Hiltibidal of Summerfield, and Brenda Lee Campbell and husband Russell of Summerfield;
Three grandchildren Jodi Lynn Jones of Guthrie, Kelli Ann Anfinson and husband Jake of Sapulpa, and Anthony Wayne Jones and wife Samantha of Guthrie;
One great-grandson, Samuel Dean Anfinson, of Sapulpa;
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie Levi and Sally Marguerite McGowen; a daughter and husband, Sharon Lynn and Darrell Jones; and a brother, Elzie Eugene McGowen.
Viewing is Sunday from 1 until 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. until noon Monday.
The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
