Wednesday’s local fishing report for Wister Lake in LeFlore County.
Wister: May 3. Elevation is 5 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 74°F and murky. (USACE Current Lake Level) Largemouth bass fair on buzz baits, jigs, and plastic baits around brush structure, creek channels, and river channel. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad around main lake. Crappie excellent on jigs and minnows around brush structure, creek channels, main lake, and river channel.
