Heavener, Poteau playing in quarterfinals
The Oklahoma high school soccer playoffs resume Friday in quarterfinal play with Heavener visiting Casady in Oklahoma City and Poteau hosting Community Christian.
Heavener’s match at Casady starts at 6 p.m. while the Community Christian match at Poteau begins at 7 p.m.
The Wolves are 11-3 after defeating Commerce, 4-0, in the opening round. Casady is 12-1.
Poteau enters Friday’s match with a 10-5 record after downing Miami, 4-1 in the opening round. Community Christian is 11-4 and lost to Casady, 6-1, during district play.
