CAMERON – Funeral service for Donald Howard Pierce, 65 of Cameron is 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evans and Miller Chapel in Poteau with Jim Cook officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
He was born March 26, 1957 to Opal (Stewart) Pierce and James Richard Pierce and passed away May 24, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Survivors include son, Micah Pierce; daughter, Emerald Pierce; grandchildren Jayven Seyler, Silas Johnson, Clementine Ollar, Savana Pierce, Raylyn Pierce; sister, Lillian Kasper and husband Butch; and brothers Richard Pierce, Michael Pierce and wife Tiona, and Jim Bo Pierce and wife Barbara.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Beshears, sister-in-law, Cheiko Pierce; brother and sister-in-law, Joe Ollar and Mary Ann.
Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Cameron Middle School archery team competed at the NASP Eastern National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky May 12-14. The team finished ranked 28th out of 205 middle school teams from across the nation. Continue reading “Cameron archery team has good finish”
